CircuitWest is the service organisation for the performing arts sector in Western Australia. It is a membership, not-for profit organisation representing nearly 100 artists, producers and presenters
Its major role is to ensure that WA gets the performing arts experiences it deserves to grow one of the State’s critical sectors.
CircuitWest works in many ways
- Touring performing arts across WA (13 tours in 2022)
- Running WA Showcase, the main arts market in the state
- Finding new pathways and new approaches to performing arts
- Advocacy for the sector in areas like funding and providing a voice for performing arts
- Professional development and training for presenters and communities staging performing arts
- Marketing and audience development research projects
- Support, advice and services for artists, producers and service organisations
- Connecting the players of the sector so it can thrive.
- Running Techwest, the technical manager’s forum for WA
- Embedding accessibility and diversity in all the areas we influence
