Back by popular demand, the Marketing for Performance Makers Mentorship offers 3 hours of one-on-one mentorship with Alison (Ali) Welburn, Founder and Owner of Limelight Consulting, a bespoke Arts Producing, Public Relations and Marketing Consultancy.*
Designed to meet your specific goals, this personalised mentorship provides targeted guidance tailored to your production and marketing needs. Sessions can be scheduled flexibly to suit your timeline, whether you would prefer support spread across several weeks in the lead-up to your show, or an intensive series of sessions over just a few days.
Through the program, you will:

About Alison (Ali) Welburn
Ali Welburn has over 30 years of expertise in marketing, communications, and business development within the arts sector, spanning theatre, dance, publishing, visual arts, broadcasting, and festival development.
As a mentor and lecturer, Alison has worked with a range of organisations, including THEATRE 180, Black Swan Theatre Company, Fringe World Perth, PACA and STRUT Dance to name a few and has lectured in arts management at WAAPA, Curtin University, and Murdoch University. She is also the co-founder of Perth International Cabaret Festival. Her extensive experience will provide you with personalised insights and feedback to elevate your marketing efforts.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this mentorship program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be an emerging or mid-career producer based in Western Australia.
- Have a show or production ready to be promoted from September 2026 onwards.
- Participate in surveys related to the mentorship program.
- Have previously participated in a CircuitWest initiative, for example:
- Touring Mentorship Program
- Tour Good Sessions
- Pitch Good Sessions
- WA Showcase Pitching Program

Investment
Thanks to the support of CircuitWest and the WA State Government, participation in the program is just $30 + GST.
To Apply
Please submit your expressions of interest by 5pm Wednesday, 10 June 2026.
You may select your preferred intake period for the program:
- First Intake: July to September 2026
- Second Intake: October to December 2026

All successful applicants for both intakes will be notified by 19 June 2026. An online introductory session for all successful applicants will be held from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm on Monday, 29 June 2026.
